Austin Hamm
Austin spent 4 years at South Dakota State on the track and cross country teams, getting a journalism degree while working as the sports editor at the student newspaper. He covers sports for KBRX Radio out of O’Neill, as well as some PA work during track season.
Tyler Smith
Tyler attended Briar Cliff University and competed for the Chargers for three years in track and cross country before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Friday nights he can typically be found supporting his younger brothers who are both three sport athletes for Bloomfield. His wife Brittany was a former Plainview Pirate but has since been converted to being a Bloomfield Bee where she will teach and coach. Tyler also does some coaching for the Bees as he is their Jr High boys basketball coach.
At the end of the day, we’re just a couple of guys who became friends through sports, grew up around 8-man football, and just felt like there was a chance to dive deeper into these teams that are the whole world in their small towns.
